Certification roadmap

Overall EIPM Certification Process granting five levels of Certification

The EIPM Certification is made of the following elements:

1. Assessment
To identify the equivalence between the current Participant’s positions in the EIPM standard job
positions, EIPM is using its own talent assessment. All the different positions will be classified in 5 levels.

2. Level 1: Professional Buyers
To be awarded participants need to:

• Attend the three week course of the Level 1 or attend each Purchasing Module which makes up the three week course of the Level 1.
• Pass the knowledge acquisition test’s and present their project to a jury for validation

3. Level 2: Expert Buyers
Pre-requisite: being awarded EIPM Certified Professional Buyer – Level 1.
To be awarded participants need to:

• Attend the three week course of the Level 2 or attend each Purchasing Module which makes up the three week course of the Level 2.
• Pass the knowledge acquisition test’s and present their project to a jury for validation

4. Level 3: Purchasing Managers
Pre-requisite: being awarded EIPM Certified Expert Buyer – Level 2.
To be awarded participants need to:

• Attend the three week course of the Level 3 or attend each Purchasing Module which makes up the two week course of the Level 3.
• Pass the knowledge acquisition test’s and present their project to a jury for validation

5. Level 4: MSc in Purchasing Management
Pre-requisite: Participants should first complete the 3 EIPM certification levels.

• Then, they must successfully pass the four executive Master modules and deliver a global integrated project.
• Participants may also proceed directly to the executive part time MSc.

6. Level 5: MBA specialised in Purchasing & Supply Management
Pre-requisite: Participants should first succeed in the “MSc in Purchasing Management”.

• Then, they must successfully pass the 6 MBA modules and the thesis.
• Participants my also proceed directly to the executive part time MBA.
