In-company programmes
In-company programmes are designed to meet specific company needs in Purchasing Strategy, Upstream Purchasing Tools, generic Purchasing Tools and best Practices.
Each programme is designed in active cooperation with the company to meet its own particular training needs. The proposed programme is the result of a preliminary diagnosis carried out by EIPM staff and the company’s purchasing organisation.
EIPM can offer various training solutions from in-company programmes based on the EIPM standard training modules to in-company programmes tailored to the specific needs of the company.
Target groups:
- In the Purchasing function from Buyer to Purchasing Executive.
- In related functions such as R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Marketing.
EIPM Blended Learning Process:
The EIPM recommends not considering a training seminar as an isolated event.
Like any business action, it has to be prepared, and the implementation of the consequent actions needs to be accompanied and monitored. The EIPM proposes the following potential path for your company:

1. The administration phase covers the participants’ registration, invitation and tracking into the overall training solution through the EIPM LMS (Learning Management System) or through the company’s one at its convenience. This means that the client can outsource the global process including the administration.
2. The EIPM has developed and implemented a specific approach for the development of human resources in the purchasing function: its online Talent Assessment approach and tool: @Bee Resources.
This approach and tool can be customised and used as part of an in-company training project.
This tool is used to:
- Analyse the competences and skills necessary aligned on the activities realised,
- Analyse the gap between the target competences and the observed competences,
- Analyse activities, jobs and job positions in the purchasing function,
- Determine profiles and assess individual to formulate development directions,
- Analyse purchasing populations and formulate development plans to be implemented and check the competences after the implementation of the training.

3. The distance-learning phase has two main complementary objectives:
- As pre-learning:to prepare transparency and reinforce the participants’ knowledge before the face-to-face training class.
- As learning:to maintain, to share some knowledge. It may replace part of the face-to-face training course and could be used on site for some short functional training.

4. During the face-to-face delivery, in-company programmes feature theoretical presentations, case studies and group discussions together with practical sessions using games and simulation exercises. Participants prepare in advance small projects that are specific to their organisation in order to link current situations to the programme content.
5. Today to create “success stories” in company training, EIPM organise follow up sessions. These sessions are close to consultancy missions and allow participants to apply the tools and the concepts learned to their own company problems (Design to Cost, Value Analysis, etc.). This approach guarantees and increases the return on investment on training.
