18th EIPM European Round Table: “Purchasing Driver for Company Excellence”

We have all been shaken at some time or other that companies we have regarded as solid institution suffer a major crisis. Unfortunately what was a rare event is becoming a regular occurrence.

Why are companies more vulnerable today then yesterday? How is globalization impacting on understanding of risk? Can we predict adverse events and put in place practical mitigation procedures?

Purchasing is increasingly exposed to situations of risk with consolidation of the supplier base , the growing trends to low cost countries sourcing, the volatility of the raw material markets and the unpredictable currency fluctuations to name but a few.

In response to the recommendation of the Purchasing Community and to mark the 20thAnniversary of EIPM and the 18thAnniversary of the EIPM European Round Table, we have selected the theme, Purchasing Driver for Company Excellence”.

Who should attend?

The EIPM European Round Table is a well established forum, bringing together leading Purchasing and Supply strategists and opinion leaders from different countries and industries to meet and develop themes of current interest.
